The Role: Due to upcoming succession planning, the firm is looking for an experienced property and commercial lawyer to step into a key client-facing role. You’ll take over an existing client portfolio and enjoy a genuine pathway to partnership in the near term. The work is broad and interesting, including: Residential and commercial property sales and acquisitions Off-the-plan, subdivisions, easements and development work Commercial and retail leasing (including shopping centre leasing) FIRB, GST and stamp duty issues Body corporate, CMS/BMS and management rights matters Agricultural and rural transactions General commercial and corporate work, trusts and business sales Wills, estates and small dispute matters (as desired) This is a role for a capable all-rounder who enjoys variety and client relationships as much as the legal work itself.
